Guitar Tricks Review – Is This the Best Online Guitar Course?

Sharing is caring!

Guitar Tricks is the most comprehensive online guitar course membership site available today. Guitar Tricks started in 1998 and is one of the oldest guitar websites on the internet. As a member you will get access to over 3000 video guitar lessons taught by 45 different instructors. The site literally has lessons on every guitar technique and skill you can think of, and I’m not sure that you will ever run out of things to learn.

As you might expect, this makes Guitar Tricks suitable for both Beginners and Advanced learners alike. They are constantly updating their database of lessons and offer new ones every week. Most of the newer lessons are shown in high quality HD and although the style varies by instructor, I’ve found all the ones I’ve tried to be quite good. I especially like the graphic overlay over the video which shows you the timing of each note to play. For beginners a visual aid like this is invaluable.

You don’t have to be online all the time on the site either. One nice feature is the ability to download videos to your own computer. You can view these videos offline using the Guitar Tricks branded video player. What I like about the player is the ability to loop through specific sections of the video. So if you miss what the instructor has to say, or just want to practice a technique a few times, you will be putting this feature to good use.

The site also has a lot to offer for expert guitar players. You can search for your favorite guitar players like Jimmy Page, Steve Val and David Gilmour and find lessons which will teach you the techniques that made them so great. To become the best, you have to learn from the best. If that doesn’t get you excited about Guitar Tricks, I don’t know what will.

If you’re still on the fence about joining Guitar Tricks, you can sign up for a basic access membership and get 24 free lessons. This is a great way to see if the video instruction is right for you. A full membership is just $12.95 a month and there’s no long term commitment either as you just pay month to month. If you want to teach yourself the guitar, but don’t want to pay the high cost of private lessons, then make sure you check out Guitar Tricks. Its an affordable and great way to learn the guitar.

Hello, I have been playing guitar since 2011. I review guitar as well as other music items. What you should buy for your instrument. We are a team of musical instruments lovers. We love to play with these. Like string instruments, wooden instruments, or you can say electrical. Who are in my team? I play Acoustic and Classical guitar. Sam plays an electric guitar. Watson plays Bass. Pretty plays the drum. And the Piano is played by gibbon. And in a week two new players will join our team. All are in so good in their field. That’s why all the tips and tricks are written after their guidelines. One day while playing guitar with my friends. This idea was explored. One of my friends told me why don’t we make a site and share our experience.
